Guess How Much I Love You

Colton Greer, age 3 Herald photo by Rose Hooper Colton Greer, age 3, shows classmate Keri Davis just how much glue it takes to hold two hearts together. Greer and other 3-year-olds at Webster Enterprises Child Development Center made Valentine bunnies from different-size hearts.

Teacher Carrie Hall incorporated their Valentines into a lesson on love and friendship.

After reading the book "Guess How Much I Love You" by Sam McBratney, 3-year-olds in Carrie Hall's class at Webster Enterprises Child Development Center constructed their own "Guess How Much I Love You" Valentines.

"Our lesson was about love and friendship. The story was told through the main character of a bunny," said Hall. "So we cut out hearts and pieced them together to form our own Valentine bunny."

As demonstrated by Colby Henry, the bunny's tie expands open like an accordion with the answer to the question hidden inside.

"Guess how much I love you," Henry said, then opened up his big wide answer, "This much."

Hall lets Kelsey Washington choose just the right color eyes to glue on her Valentine bunny.
