held a graduation celebration Monday, April 8, in honor of nine student dancers who attained full membership in the club. A graduation dan ce was held in honor of the new members Saturday, April 13. The group includes a number of Jackson County dancers and holds club dances on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month at 7 p.m. at the Waynesville Recreation Center. Western Carolina University's CulloWHEE! ArtsFest are seeking volunteers interested in helping launch the new summer celebration of live music and fine art. Set for Friday and Saturday, June 14-15, the outdoor festival will feature national recording acts, including the Manhattan Transfer. Volunteers are needed in several areas, from ticket booths and parking lots to the childrenıs area and VIP tent. Orientation sessions are Monday and Tuesday, June 3-4, beginning at 6 p.m. at the festival site behind WCU's Outreach Center. Registrations are requested by Friday, May 31.
