TRISH AND BOB MORGAN...

are the new owners of The Pet Stop on Mill Street. Trish, an active member of the Jackson County Humane Society (ARF) for the past four years, will handle humane society adoptions at the store. For more on The Pet Stop, see their ad in this issue.


STERLING & REID...

Brothers three-ring circus, the second largest circus in the world, is coming to Western Carolina University for 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. performances Thursday, Jan. 31, at the Ramsey Center. The show will feature acts including trapeze artists, acrobats, gymnasts, circus pets, clowns, a human cannonball and performing elephants. Tickets go on sale the day of the show at 2:30 p.m. For information, call 227-7677.


THE SYLVA HIGH SCHOOL...

Class of 1957 is planning a reunion this summer. Any member interested in helping to plan the event is asked to call Nancy Buchanan at 586-6715 or Patsy Jones at 586-6313.
