Jake Lunnen

Smoky Mountain's Jake Lunnen has signed to play baseball for Presbyterian, an NCAA Division II School in Clinton, S.C.

"I really like the coach," Lunnen said of one of the main reasons for choosing the Blue Hose. "He's a great guy, and I like the school."

Coach Doug Kovash's team was 37-20 last season and finished fifth in the South Atlantic Conference at 13-9.

Lunnen picked Presbyterian over UNC-Wilmington, Wingate and Appalachian State.
