Western Carolina freshman Jarvis Hayes scored 12 points for Western Carolina
in last week's 87-67 victory over Lees-McRae.

Western Carolina's men's basketball team swept home games from Lees-McRae and Anderson this past week evening its record at 2-2.
The Catamounts scored 15 of the game's first 16 points and went on to defeat Lees-McRae 87-67 Nov. 23 before 1,362 fans at the Ramsey Center It was their fourth straight win in a home-opener.
Western's 15-1 lead was quickly reduced to 20-15, but the Cats extended the margin to 37-26 at halftime.
WCU sophomore Casey Rogers moved into ninth place on the school's career list for three pointers when he knocked down his 65th triple with 7:55 remaining in the game.
Cory Largent paced a balanced scoring attack with 13 points. He was joined in double figures by Jarvis Hayes with 12, Dondrell Whitmore with 11 and Rogers and Leon Davis with 10 each.
Rogers handed out 10 assists.
Western led by as many as 26 points in the second half.
