The Jackson County swim team finished second to Henderson County at Hendersonville last Thursday.
"The evening was a great experience for the kids," Coach Pat Briggs said. "The Hendersonville pool is a long course pool of 50 meters as used in Olympic competition. The All-Star meet, which is the final meet of the summer season will also be held at this pool. The meet there Thursday night provided the opportunity for the kids to become familiar with the pool and to prepare them for the All-Star meet.
