SMHS men's soccer tryouts to begin July 23 |

Conditioning sessions for Smoky Mountain High's men's varsity and JV soccer teams will be held Monday, July 23; Tuesday, July 24; Thursday, July 26; and Friday, July 27, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Conditioning sessions are not mandatory, but they are crucial to each candidate's preparation, and all students interested in trying out are urged to attend, said Coach Dolphus Brown. Each student should bring a water bottle and ball.
Tryouts for varsity and JV candidates will begin Monday, July 30, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. with practice sessions continuing through Wednesday, Aug. 8. After that date, practice time will shift to 3:30 p.m. All students who want to try out must present the required medical clearance prior to the first session. All conditioning, tryout and practice sessions will be held at the Jackson County Recreation Park in Cullowhee. For more information, contact Coach Brown at 293-3483. |
