Mustangs stun Black Hawks for first conference victory

Smoky Mountain won its first Mountain Athletic Conference basketball game of the season with a 75-66 upset of North Buncombe on Jan. 22 at the SM gym.

Jeff Davis scored all 14 of his points in the second half as he led four players in double figures. Providing scoring support were Justin Roper with 13, Silas Webb with 11 and Jared Day with 10. Webb also had 10 rebounds and blocked four shots. Read More . . .
