| Smoky Mountain's men's and women's basketball teams celebrate with championship plaques after winning the Mustang Christmas Tournament on Dec. 28 at the SM gym. The Mustangs topped Brevard 67-57 in overtime in the finals with Jeff Davis being named most valuable player. Stasha Nicholson was the most valuable player for the Lady Mustangs, who defeated Rabun County (Ga.) 43-38 in the championship game. - Herald photos by Carey Phillips |
