Western Carolina’s football team has agreed to a two-game contract for the 2024 and 2025 seasons with Montana.

The Catamounts and Grizzlies will face off first at Washington-Grizzly Stadium on Sept. 14, 2024,and then return home to E.J. Whitmire Stadium/Bob Waters Field the following season on Aug. 30, 2025.

The first-time meeting for the two teams also represents WCU’s first meeting with a team from the Big Sky Conference. The away game will mark the farthest west trip for the Catamounts, aside from their previous trip to Hawaii in 2017.

WCU Athletic Director Randy Eaton worked with the Montana AD to provide the two teams with a look at conferences outside of their normal schedules.

Season tickets are also now available for Western’s 2019 six-game home schedule. To purchase tickets, visit the Catamount Athletics ticket office, located on the first floor of the Ramsey Center, call 800-34-GOWCU or online at CatamountsSports.com.

Tickets are available beginning at $90 for adult and $55 for youth bleacher season tickets. Returning season ticket holders must renew their tickets by June 28 to ensure the same seats as last year.

Catamount Club members are also reminded to renew their memberships by May 31 to qualify for reserved parking this fall.
