Kickoff times for Western Carolina’s six-game 2019 home schedule were unveiled this week. The schedule begins with a Southern Conference meeting against Mercer at 6 p.m. Aug. 31.

The season and conference opener against Mercer features a Purple Out, bookended with the freshmen run and post-game fireworks.

The middle of the schedule includes three consecutive 3:30 p.m. kickoffs, including the “Gold Out” meeting with North Greenville on Sept. 14 and the Oct. 5 WCU Family Weekend game against non-conference foe Gardner-Webb. The Homecoming game on Saturday, Oct. 26 is slated for 3:30 p.m. as the Catamounts host rival Furman.

WCU will host a men’s basketball/football doubleheader on Saturday, Nov. 9. Men’s basketball will host Gardner-Webb at noon. The “Blue Ridge Border Battle” between WCU and ETSU is set to kickoff at 3:30 p.m.

The Catamounts’ home slate ends with a Hall of Fame Day/Senior Day against the Samford Bulldogs on Nov. 16 with a 2 p.m. start.

Returning WCU Football season ticketholders must renew their season tickets by Friday to lock in their same seats from last year.
