Smoky Mountain’s men’s and women’s basketball teams will observe Senior Night on Friday when East Henderson visits the SM gym for Mountain Six Conference games.

The JV women will start at 4 p.m., followed by the JV men, varsity women and varsity men.

That’s the same schedule for MSC games on Tuesday at Franklin and for home non-conference games Wednesday, Feb. 12, against Madison.

The Madison games have twice been postponed due to weather conditions.

East’s men are 0-7 in the MSC, and the women are 1-6. The Franklin women lead the conference at 7-1, and the men are 4-4.

The Mustang men (11-8, 5-2) downed Brevard 55-51 at home Tuesday. Conner Seagraves scored 16 points, and Zeb Sink had 11.

The Lady Mustangs (10-9, 3-4) lost to Brevard 51-38. Natalie Parris had 19 points.

The teams were scheduled to play league games Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Hendersonville. They were postponed from Friday after snow hit Henderson County.

Details of Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s games will be in next week’s Herald.
