Smoky Mountain’s men’s and women’s basketball teams will open Mountain Six Conference action Tuesday at Pisgah.

The JV women will play at 4 p.m., followed by the JV men, varsity women and varsity men.

That will be the same schedule Friday when Robbinsville comes to SM for non-conference action. The Mustang men won earlier this season at Robbinsville, but the Lady Mustangs lost.

The men are 4-4 after Monday’s home 68-56 win over Rabun County, Georgia. Zeb Sink scored 19 points, followed by Mitch Wike with 15 and Conner Seagraves with 11.

The Lady Mustangs fell to 5-3 with a 77-57 loss to undefeated Rabun. Natalie Parris scored 19 points, and Lucy McRae had 10.

Home games were set for Tuesday against North Henderson with the JV women starting at 11 a.m., followed by the JV men, varsity women and varsity men. Results were not known at press time.

Details of Monday’s and Tuesday’s games will be in next week’s Herald.
