Smoky Mountain’s basketball teams will continue Mountain Seven Conference action with games Friday at East Henderson and home Tuesday against Pisgah.

Action both days will begin with the JV women at 4 p.m., followed by the JV men, varsity women and varsity men.

East’s women are 0-4 in the league, and the men are 1-3. The Pisgah women and men are both 3-1.

The Mustang men are 4-10 overall and 1-3 in the conference following Tuesday’s 72-70 win over Tuscola. Brylen Conlin scored 23 points, followed by Matthew Brown with 14 and Max Buchanan and Tanner Gerrety with 11 apiece.

The Lady Mustangs are 7-6 overall and 2-2 in the MSC. Their home game with Tuscola was postponed due to COVID-19 issues in the Lady Mountaineer program. It has been reset for 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24.
