Swim team wins home-opener
Jackson County's swim team swam to victory against Transylvania and Graham Counties in the first home meet of the summer season June 20. JCST scored 402 points to Transylvania's 362 and Graham's 163 at the Sylva Pool. Those placing in the top three positions were:

8 and under girls - Paige Lindsey, second, 25 butterfly, 38.77.
