Sasha Green and Alec Parks were united in marriage during a 5 p.m. ceremony Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Watauga Lake Winery in Butler, Tenn.

Maria Sotelo-Hawkins of Raleigh performed the ceremony. Soloist and musician was Dr. Henry Wong of Sylva.

The bride is the daughter of Dicky and Joy Green of Sylva.

The groom is the son of Jeanette Beaudry and Ken Shuttlesworth of Graham, and Randall and Tammy Parks of Elon.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Bridesmaids were Sarah Wong Cooper of Colusa, Calif.; Andrea Townsend McKay of Ontario, Canada; Miranda Smith Griffis of Sylva; Kelly Davenport of Franklin; and Miranda Parks of Elon, sister of the groom.

The groom’s brother, Matt Parks of Mebane, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Chris Green of Sylva, brother of the bride; Jamie Hawkins of Raleigh; and Wesley Snow and Matthew Snow, both of Haw River.

The bride’s parents hosted a reception at the Watauga Lake Winery.

The bride is a graduate of Smoky Mountain High School and graduated from Northeast State Community College in Blountville, Tenn., in December.

The groom graduated from Western Carolina University and is employed by Best Buy in Johnson City, Tenn.

The couple will live in Jonesborough, Tenn.
