Jackson Neighbors in Need is once again bringing local organizations together for an Annual Blanket Drive. The Jackson County Public Library, the Department on Aging, and the Department of Social Services are collecting new blankets for people in need. New hats, scarves and gloves can also be donated.
The locations for dropping off these items are at Jackson County Public Library’s Atrium, the Jackson County Department of Aging’s front desk and the front desk of the Department of Social Services. Items should be new and in their packaging. Blankets and other items will be available for those in need through Jan. 15. For more information, call the library at 586-2016.
