Tootie’s favorite place to be was sitting on the first stool at The Coffee Shop in Sylva, drinking coffee.

Tootie is survived by his children, Jeff (Valerie) Jamison of Sylva, Aaron (Michelle) Jamison of Sylva and Jennifer (Kasey) Blackwood of Jacksonville, Fla.; one daughter-in-law, Teresa Jamison. Tootie is also survived by many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren; five siblings, Nell (Roger) Parris of Sylva, Sandy (Jimmy) Henson of Weddington, N.C., Linda Lowman of Asheville, N.C., Harold (Dallene) Jamison of Sylva and Bill Jamison of Morristown, Tenn., as well as several nieces and nephews.

Tootie was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mildred and Earl Jamison; his son, Scott Jamison, who passed away earlier this year; and Brenda Jamison, his sister.

The family would like to thank everyone who helped Tootie during these past few years.
