Traci Lynn Mathis, 44, of Whittier, passed away Monday, Jan. 23, 2023.
A native and a lifelong resident of Jackson County, she was the daughter of Julie (Curtis) Bradley of Whittier and Bruce (Lisa) Mathis of Hendersonville.
Traci was a real thrill seeker who loved animals and going shopping.
In addition to her parents she is survived by three daughters, Kealy Neugin, Madelyn Jamison and Katelyn Jamison; two grandchildren, Carson and Anna Neugin; her siblings, Kelli Russell, Mary Powell, Brandon Cox and Amber Cox. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023, in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Ronnie Hodge officiating.
The family received friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
Burial followed at Mathis Cemetery in Tuckasegee, N.C.
