Judy Painter Herron, age 81, a resident of Cleveland, Tenn., passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020, in a Cleveland health care facility.
Mrs. Herron was born in Sylva, N.C., and she was the daughter of the late Blanche Phillips Painter and Edward Painter. Her sister, JoAnn Stamey, and her brothers, Lewis Painter and Carl “Red” Painter, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Herron was retired from Bendix/Honeywell with more than 20 years of service. She enjoyed going to the river and camping, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Herron was a member of the Berean Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Herron of Cleveland; her daughter, Tina Herron Ridgeway and her husband Allen; her sons, Jim Wilson and his wife Delia, all of Cleveland, John Wilson and his wife Bridgette of Rossville, Ga., Jeff Wilson and his wife Annette also of Cleveland; her nine grandchildren; her eight-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The remembrance of life memorial service was conducted on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at 6 p.m. at the Berean Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Wagner officiating.
