Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School announced recently its honor roll for the second trimester for the 2018-19 school year.

The following students from Jackson County earned Head of School’s High Honors:

• Grade 12 – Will Adair of Cashiers, Wade Blackburn of Cashiers, Hayden Turner of Cullowhee and Abbey Waters of Sylva.

• Grade 11 – Jackson Bloom of Cashiers.

• Grade 7 – Sophia Moore of Sapphire and Angelica Vanflorcke of Sapphire.

• Grade 6 – Savanna Jones of Cashiers.

Jackson County students who made Head of School’s Honors were:

• Grade 12 – Andrew Ladensack of Cashiers.

• Grade 11 – Olivia Harris of Cashiers.

• Grade 9 – Cora Leitch of Cullowhee.

• Grade 8 – Ben Mathews of Sylva.

• Grade 6 – Taylor Nickerson of Cashiers.

Head of School’s High Honors recognizes students who earned an average no lower than a 4.0 with no grade below B+ and no effort rating below satisfactory in Grades 9-12. It recognizes students who have all A’s with no grade below an A- in Grades 4-8.

Head of School’s Honors recognizes students who have all A’s and B’s with no grade below a B- and no effort rating below satisfactory in Grades 4-8. It recognizes students who have an average not lower than 3.0, with no grade below C+ and no effort rating below satisfactory in Grades 9-12.
