The Alzheimer’s Association – Western Carolina Chapter will give the presentation Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Community Room of the Jackson County Library.
Alzheimer’s disease is not a normal part of aging. It is a progressive and fatal brain disease and the most common form of dementia. This free program also provides information on detection, causes and risk factors, stages of the disease, treatments and much more.
