The 11th season of Concerts on the Creek continues Friday when the series welcomes back fan favorites Dashboard Blue.
Dashboard Blue is a five piece band based in Asheville with 25-plus years of experience playing a wide variety of music including rock, R&B, ‘50s, disco, funk, pop, beach, Motown, swing, country and the classics.
Concerts on the Creek are held most Fridays from 7-9 p.m. at the Bridge Park in Sylva through Labor Day weekend. Everyone is encouraged to bring a chair or blanket. These events are free, but donations are encouraged. Well behaved dogs are allowed but must be on a leash. No alcohol, smoking or coolers are allowed in the park.
Organizers suggest that everyone obey safe COVID-19 protocols.
The Jackson County Department of Public Health is offering free COVID-19 vaccines for everyone 18 years and older, from 6:30 p.m. until the music is over at 9 p.m.
These concerts are organized and produced by the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Sylva and the Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department.
