Election results will cause country to suffer

To the Editor:

To the Editor: Bravo for you. My wife and I live in Jacksonville, Fla., and intend to relocate to Sylva soon, as we just purchased a home there.

Your remarks on the election mess here are right on the mark. We personally find it very embarrassing to be a part of such a tragedy. Our country as a whole will suffer for years to come because of this act of ignorance and unprofessional conduct of our public officials.

We agree as well with your feelings of North Carolina's superiority in several areas. Just to name a few: Better elections control, beautiful country, beautiful people, beautiful weather... well, you get the idea.

We are on our way and hope to become good neighbors and appreciate the many good people in Sylva who have gone out of their way to assist us with our relocation these past few weeks.
