Honest people live in Jackson County

To the Editor:

My children and I when to the movies and then to McDonald's Friday, Aug. 17. While we were at McDonald's, I unknowingly dropped my child support check.

On Sunday afternoon I heard a knock at my door. It was a lady who found my check the night before.

This lady took the time to ask around and find out exactly where I live so she could return my check. I am grateful to her. I hope there are more people around like her.

I want the citizens of Jackson County to know that we have good, honest, caring people living here. Even though I did not get the lady's name, I want to say "thank you" again.
