Local artist creates Christmas popcorn tins for Target stores

Target commissioned Sylva artist Linda Kotila to create two Christmas popcorn tins featuring her "O Christmas Tree!" and "Angel Band" images. Jackson's General Store in Sylva is also carrying the tins which come compete with a bag of caramel and butter toffee popcorn. Meet the artist and view her creations this Saturday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Jackson's General Store.

 		Looks delightful on the outside and is delicious inside. That's how friends are describing Linda Kotila's Christmas creations.

Target has commissioned the Sylva artist to decorate its holiday popcorn tins this year. Two of her art works, "Angel Band" and "O Christmas Tree!," appear at Target stores throughout the United States this holiday season.

But you don't have to go all the way to Buford, Ga. - the nearest Target - to purchase one. The new Jackson's General Store in Sylva carries Kotila's colorful Christmas popcorn tins.

Plus, this Saturday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., you can meet the artist in person at Jackson's General Store.
