Lisa Lovedahl-Lehman, director of elections for Jackson County, demonstrates how to use the voting machines that will be utilized in the May 2 primary. Voters will push a button to the right of the names of the candidates they select. As with the old machines, the entire ballot is visible. Before exiting from the machine, voters must push the green "VOTE" bottom at the bottom right to record their selections. The machine will be available for public demonstration on the first floor of the Justice Center through Friday. Hours are 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
