A male guest fell to his death from a 21st-floor hotel balcony at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort Tuesday (Jan. 13) around 9:30 a.m.
Harrah’s Senior Vice President/General Manager Brooks Robinson confirmed the incident and gender of the victim but instructed The Herald to contact the Cherokee Police Department, which is investigating the death, for more information.
According to CPD spokesman Alicia Wildcatt, there is no evidence of foul play. No additional information, including the name and age of the victim, was being released as of Wednesday morning, Wildcatt said.

Update (Jan. 20): The Cherokee Police Department's Alicia Wildcatt told The Herald tribal law enforcement officials are not releasing any additional information about the fatal fall that claimed the life of a male guest Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort. Wildcatt said last week that there was no evidence of foul play.
