Seven area teens have been charged with possession of weapons of mass destruction, conspiracy and property damage that resulted when homemade bombs were exploded at the Scotts Creek school construction site. The bombs were detonated in portable toilets on two recent weekend nights. Six of the seven charged are students at Smoky Mountain High School, while the seventh attends Southwestern Community College. Investigators say the students' access to the Internet contributed to their knowledge of bomb construction.
