THE WOMEN’S COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY is offering a new program on the book of Exodus, which recounts how God brought Israel out of slavery and allowed it to become His treasured possession. Exodus contains one of the earliest sets of laws ever recorded, beginning to shape a more just society for everyone. The first meeting, held Jan. 9, was an introduction with member workbooks available for purchase. Women’s Community Bible Study meets from 9-10:30 a.m. every Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church of Sylva. No pre-registration is required, and childcare is provided.
