Rotary Island Crew

Keeping island tidy

An ongoing project of the Rotary Club of Sylva is its care of the extensive shrubs and flower beds that beautify the traffic islands at Jackson County’s busiest intersection (the corner of U.S. 23 Business and N.C. 107 in Sylva).

Originally the landscaping was the work of club member Dr. Ralph Morgan in 1984. On Sept. 14 club members worked hard to keep the area looking good. For more information about the club, visit www.sylvarotaryclub.org.
