Makes a delicious luncheon treat for family and friends!

1 - 3 ounce package cream cheese, softened

1 - tablespoon butter, softened

2 - cups cubed cooked chicken

2 - tablespoons chopped chives or onion

2 - tablespoons milk

1 - tablespoon each, chopped red, green peppers & celery

Salt & pepper to taste

1 - 8 ounce can crescent rolls

1 - tablespoon butter melted

3/4 cup seasoned croutons crushed

Mix all ingredients together in large bowl. Separate dough into 4 rectangles. Press perforations together to seal. Spoon 1/2-cup chicken mixture in center of rectangle, then pull the 4 corners to the center & twist to close. Pinch edges to seal. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, brush with melted butter & sprinkle with crushed croutons. Bake at 350 degree for 25 - 30 minutes or golden brown. Yields 4 sandwiches
