The local Genealogical Society’s next program will feature Waynesville attorney Rusty McLean, who will discuss the Civil War in Western North Carolina.

Set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, the event will take place in the Community Room at the Jackson County Library.

Jackson County Genealogical Society programs are always on the second Thursday of each month, usually at the Library.
