The June DocuWednesday movie at the Jackson County Public Library is “Equal Means Equal,” a documentary about the Equal Rights Amendement, at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Two members of the local ERA-NC Alliance organization, Jimmie Cochran Pratt and Lynne Joshi, will show the 30 minute video, talk about the state of the ERA in North Carolina and lead a community discussion on the topic. Free popcorn is provided. Feel free to bring a non-alcoholic beverage.
