Sylva Photo Club presents Jeremy Yoho speaking on “Images of Mountain Vistas” on July 13 from 2-4 p.m. at the Cullowhee United Methodist Church, 416 Central Drive on the WCU campus.
Yoho’s passion for photography started four years ago when he began taking photos of his newborn son, Trenton. Since then, he’s done shoots for Carolina Ballet, Broadway charity events, professional Indian dance recitals and weddings.
He’s always had a soft spot for nature and he soon transitioned into landscape photography. Yoho says he feels a special bond with the notoriously hard to photograph Appalachian/Blue Ridge/Smoky Mountains.
He will discuss his motivation, the effort it takes to achieve a great image and the benefits of building bridges in the local community.
