The monthly Creating Community Workshop at the Jackson County Public Library is 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the atrium. This program is free of charge. Masks are required inside all Jackson County buildings.

Library staffer Jenifer Ross will show participants how to create small mixed colored yarn hats which can be used as an ornament, decor or to place atop any small doll or gnome that needs a hat. Participants do not have to bring any supplies, but are welcome to bring any special yarn that they want to use. The workshop is limited to 10 participants.

To register or for more information, call the Library at 586-2016. This event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Jackson County Public Library.
