THE JACKSON COUNTY CHAPTER OF THE NAACP will hold a virtual meeting Monday to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The zoom event will start at 2 p.m. and will be hosted by Enrique Gomez, outgoing president of the local branch of the NAACP, and Dana Murray Patterson, incoming NAACP president and director of Intercultural Affairs at Western Carolina University.
