An administrative term of Jackson County Superior Court convened May 22 at the Justice Center with Judge Brad Letts presiding.

Results of the term are listed below, with information obtained from records on file with the Jackson County Clerk of Court office. Defendants pleaded guilty unless indicated otherwise. In addition to dismissals, dispositions included:

Pamela Austin Frady, 47, Pheasant Run, Sylva, obtain property by false pretense, possess methamphetamine and possess phone/communication device by inmate, sentence of not less than eight nor more than 19 months suspended for 24 months and placed on supervised probation on condition she pay fine of $50 and costs, assigned to DART and MRT programs and ordered to not be on premises of Walmart, given credit for eight days served; also admitted to a probation violation, probation continued for 12 months and assigned to electronic house arrest for 90 days.

Logan Armando Decoskey, 19, Kernersville, possess Schedule I substance, placed on unsupervised probation for 12 months and ordered to pay fine of $25 and costs and obtain substance abuse assessment and mental health evaluation.

Daniel Dwain Wallace, 38, Ferguson Road, Sylva, appeared on a probation violation, original judgment modified and ordered to obtain drug screening once a month.

Maria De Los Angeles DeJesus Roldan, 46, Riverside Drive, Cherokee, possess stolen goods, sentence of 45 days suspended for 18 months and placed on unsupervised probation on condition she pay fine of $50 and costs, have no contact with victim or co-defendant and not be on premises of Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, given credit for five days served; conspire to commit felony larceny, sentencing continued from term to term, to be reviewed Aug. 5, 2020.

Nathan Corey Wood, 39, Apollo Drive, Sylva, driving while impaired – level five, sentence of not less than nor more than 24 months to run concurrently with sentence being served in Georgia, ordered to pay costs.

Christina Marie Jenkins, 37, Cashiers, possess methamphetamine, placed on supervised probation for 12 months, ordered to pay fine of $25 and costs and obtain substance abuse assessment.

Tori Shey Gunter, 31, Wolfetown Road, Cherokee, possess Schedule I substance, sentence of not less than five nor more than 15 months suspended for 18 months and placed on supervised probation on condition she pay fine of $25 and costs and obtain substance abuse assessment and mental health evaluation, given credit for 20 days served.

Maricela Conseula Sanchez, 27, Old Soco Road, Cherokee, admitted to a probation violation, probation revoked and sentence of not less than six nor more than 17 months activated, given credit for 50 days served, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric and/or psychological counseling, work release and DART program recommended.

Molly Jo Riggs, 41, Pyramid Place, Sylva, possess drug paraphernalia, sentence of 45 days suspended for 12 months and placed on supervised probation on condition she pay fine of $50 and costs and obtain substance abuse assessment and mental health evaluation; possess methamphetamine, continued from term to term for one year, to be reviewed in April.

Eric James Hothersall, 21, Antler Drive, Cullowhee, maintain vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, sentence of 45 days suspended for 12 months and placed on supervised probation on condition he pay fine of $50 and costs and obtain substance abuse assessment and mental health evaluation; possess marijuana, continued from term to term for one year, to be reviewed in April.

Tobias Dillard, 23, Clockwork Lane, Sylva, conspiracy to commit common law robbery and possess methamphetamine, sentence of not less than five nor more than 15 months, given credit for 15 days served, ordered to pay costs, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric and/or psychological counseling, work release and DART program recommended.

Justin James Wilkie, 33, Nannys Lane, Sylva, possess methamphetamine, sentence of not less than four nor more than 14 months suspended for 12 months and placed on supervised probation on condition he pay fine of $50 and costs, and obtain substance abuse assessment and mental health evaluation.
