A term of Jackson County Superior Court convened Feb. 1 at the Justice Center with Judge Brad Letts and Judge Athena Brooks presiding.

Results of the term are listed below, with information obtained from records on file with the Jackson County Clerk of Court office. Defendants pleaded guilty unless indicated otherwise. In addition to dismissals, dispositions included:

Jayquon Raheem Campbell, 27, Greenville, S.C., possess with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II controlled substance, sentence of not less than seven nor more than 18 months suspended for 18 months and placed on supervised probation on condition he pay fine of $50 and costs and obtain substance abuse assessment, given credit for one day served.

Kala Marie Bueno, 29, Franklin, admitted to a probation violation, probation revoked and sentence of not less than five nor more than 15 months activated, given credit for 128 days served.

Joshua Warren McDowell, 39, Allen Street, Sylva, was found in violation of probation, probation revoked and sentence of not less than eight nor more than 19 months activated, given credit for 161 days served, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric and/or psychological counseling, work release and DART program recommended.

Marshall Alan Pye, 30, Candler, elude arrest with motor vehicle, sentence of not less than 11 nor more than 23 months suspended for 30 months and placed on special supervised probation on condition he serve 120 days active time, pay costs, obtain substance abuse assessment and attempt to complete GED, given credit for 120 days served; possess methamphetamine, sentence of not less than eight nor more than 19 months suspended for 30 months and placed on supervised probation.

Cassandra Chey Fox, 24, Silver Fox Drive, Cullowhee, conspiracy to break/enter a building, conspiracy to commit felony larceny and conspiracy to obtain property by false pretense, sentence of not less than four nor more than 14 months suspended for 24 months and placed on supervised probation
