Results of the term are listed below, with information obtained from records on file with the Jackson County Clerk of Court office. Defendants pleaded guilty unless indicated otherwise. In addition to dismissals, dispositions included:

Crystal Gail Wood, 41, Hilltop Drive, Sylva, admitted to a probation violation, sentence of two days.

Edward Lee Smith, 38, Bryson City, admitted to a probation violation, probation revoked and sentence of not less than 10 nor more than 21 months activated, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric and/or psychological counseling, work release and DART Program recommended.

Jackson Alexander Bradley, 26, Regal Avenue, Sylva, possess drug paraphernalia, sentence of 60 days; also admitted to two counts of probation violation,on each count  sentence of 60 days, sentences to run concurrently.

Jonathan Daniel Barker, 47, Star Dust Motel, Sylva, possess cocaine, sentence of not less than six nor more than 17 months suspended for 18 months and placed on special supervised probation on condition he serve 59 days active fine, pay fine of $25 and costs and obtain substance abuse assessment, given credit for 59 days served.

John Cody DeLucia, 33, Slim Dillard Road, Sylva, appeared on a probation violation, probation continued for 12 months, ordered to obtain substance abuse and mental health assessments and apply to Southwestern Community College.

Daliyah Wolfe, 25, Big Cove Road, Cherokee, admitted to a probation violation, probation extended 12 months.

Gracie Jalene Green, 42, Webster Road, Sylva, possess methamphetamine, sentence of not less than five nor more than 15 months suspended for 12 months and placed on supervised probation on condition she pay fine of $25 and costs and obtain substance abuse and mental health assessments.

Saith D. Cucumber, 27, Lamplighter Lane, Sylva, larceny of motor vehicle, sentence of not less than  nine nor more than 20 months, given credit for 238 days served, ordered to pay costs, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric and/or psychological counseling, work release and DART Program recommended; another count of larceny of motor vehicle, sentence of not less than nine nor more than 20 months; driving while impaired – level two, sentence of not less than nor more than 12 months, ordered to pay costs and obtain substance abuse and mental health assessments; break or enter motor vehicle and injury to personal property, sentence of not less than six nor more than 17 months suspended for 24 months and placed on supervised probation; break or enter motor vehicle, sentence of not less than six nor more than 17 months suspended for 24 months and placed on supervised probation on condition he pay fine of $50 and costs, make restitution of $2,923.70 and have no contact with victims; break or enter motor vehicle, sentence of not less than six nor more than 17 months suspended for 24 months, sentences to run consecutively.

Jason David Averett, 48, Oak Hill Drive, Sylva, fail to report new address by sex offender, sentence of not less than 20 nor more than 23 months suspended for 24 months and placed on special supervised probation on condition he serve 25 days active time, pay fine of $100 and costs and obtain substance abuse and mental health assessments, given credit for 25 days served.

Timothy Ray Smith, 53, Sherrill Cove Road, Cherokee, trafficking in methamphetamine by possession and trafficking in methamphetamine by transport, sentence of not less than 70 nor more than 93 months, given credit for 295 days served, ordered to pay fine of $50,000 and costs, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric and/or psychological counseling, work release and DART Program recommended; possess with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II controlled substance and possess cocaine, sentence of not less than 11 nor more than 23 months, sentences to run consecutively.

Justin Reeves Lambert, 40, Sunset Farms Road, Whittier, two counts possess drug paraphernalia, sentence of 60 days; also admitted to two counts of probation violation, on each count probation revoked and sentences of not less than eight nor more than 19 months activated, given credit for 20 days served, sentences to run concurrently, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric and/or psychological counseling, work release and DART Program recommended.

Darrell Lee Driver, 37, Hensley Cemetery Road, Sylva, possess methamphetamine, sentence of not less than six nor more than 17 months suspended for 18 months and placed on supervised probation on condition he pay fine of $25 and costs and obtain substance abuse and mental health assessments.
