Two sessions of Jackson County District Court were held last week at the Justice Center.

Judge Kris Earwood presided at a session mainly for traffic cases June 10, and Judge Tessa Sellers presided at a session for other cases June 11.

Results of the sessions are listed below, with information obtained from records on file with the Jackson County Clerk of Court office. Defendants pleaded guilty unless indicated otherwise. In addition to dismissals and infractions, dispositions included:

June 10

Stefanie Lee Rogers, 45, Clayton, Ga., larceny, sentence of two days, given credit for two days served.

Rena Johnson Wachacha, 63, Olivet Church Road, Cherokee, driving while impaired, sentencing continued until July 22.

Catherine Mary O’Shea, 38, Seneca, S.C., driving while impaired – level three, sentence of not less than nor more than 120 days, given credit for 11 days served.

Jason Earl Farmer Jr., 25, Linmar Loop, Cullowhee, driving while impaired – level two, sentence of not less than nor more than 12 months suspended for 36 months and placed on unsupervised probation on condition he serve eight days active time, pay fine of $350 and costs, obtain substance abuse assessment and surrender driver’s license.

Joseph Louis Mallin Jr., 28, Stony Brook Road, Sylva, expired registration, fined $25 and costs.

Raymond Harold Bobbitt, 48, Castalia, driving while impaired – level one, sentence of not less than nor more than 24 months suspended for 48 months and placed on special supervised probation on condition he pay fine of $500 and costs, obtain substance abuse assessment and surrender driver’s license, given credit for 60 days served.

James Edward Harris, 45, Smith Street, Sylva, driving while impaired – level five, sentence of not less than nor more than 60 days suspended for 12 months and placed on unsupervised probation on condition he pay fine of $100 and costs, obtain substance abuse assessment, surrender driver’s license and perform 24 hours community service.

Michael Randall Coggins, 47, Canton, driving while impaired – level four, sentence of not less than nor more than 120 days suspended for 12 months and placed on supervised probation on condition he pay fine of $200 and costs, obtain substance abuse assessment, surrender driver’s license and perform 48 hours community service.

Briana Jilpas, 32, Old Cullowhee Road, Cullowhee, driving while impaired – level three, sentence of not less than nor more than six months suspended for 24 months and placed on unsupervised probation on condition she pay fine of $200 and costs, obtain substance abuse assessment, surrender driver’s license and perform 72 hours community service; assault and battery and driving while license revoked, sentence of 45 days suspended for 12 months and placed on unsupervised probation on condition she pay fine of $100.

Heather Harrison Cochran, 29, Reidsville, driving while impaired – level four, sentence of not less than nor more than 120 days suspended for 12 months and placed on unsupervised probation on condition she pay fine of $150 and costs, obtain substance abuse assessment, surrender driver’s license and perform 48 hours community service.

Rhonda Crisp McCracken, 40, Robbinsville, driving while impaired – level five, sentence of not less than nor more than 60 days suspended for 12 months and placed on unsupervised probation on condition she pay fine of $100 and costs, obtain substance abuse assessment, surrender driver’s license and perform 24 hours community service.

Angela Earlene Woodard, 42, Wilmington, driving while impaired – level four, sentence of not less than nor more than 120 days suspended for 12 months and placed on unsupervised probation on condition she pay fine of $150 and costs, obtain substance abuse assessment, surrender driver’s license and perform 48 hours community service.

Adam Dwayne Montelongo, 32, Steve Watty Road, Cherokee, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, sentence of 45 days, given credit for 45 days served.

Emily Jane Chandler, 20, Franklin, driving after drinking by person under 21, sentence of 30 days suspended for 12 months and placed on unsupervised probation on condition she pay fine of $50 and costs

Erasto Hilario Martinez, 24, Outdoor Drive, Sylva, two counts driving while license revoked, fined $50 and costs.

Manuel Santiz Perez, 35, Squirrel Lane, Sapphire, no operator’s license, fined $50 and costs.

Narciso Lopez Ramirez, 31, Bee Tree Road, Glenville, no operator’s license, fined $50 and costs.

Shawn Bubacz, 47, Johns Creek Road, Cullowhee, injury to real property, sentence of 60 days suspended for 12 months and placed on unsupervised probation on condition he pay fine of $100 and costs.

William Roy Howell, 20, Clyde, consume alcoholic beverage by person under age, prayer for judgment continued on condition he pay costs.

Daniel Ryan Lear, 25, Canton, assault and battery, prayer for judgment continued.

Craigan Stan Wildcatt, 38, Annie Bird Road, Cherokee, resisting public officer, sentence of two days, given credit for two days served.

Rayshawn Haikeem Little, 21, Asheville, possess marijuana, placed on unsupervised probation for 12 months, ordered to pay fine of $100 and costs and obtain substance abuse assessment.

Tristan Ensly, 20, Asheville, possess marijuana, placed on unsupervised probation for 12 months, ordered to pay fine of $100 and costs, perform 24 hours community service and obtain substance abuse assessment.

Ann Elizabeth Maple, 56, Leicester, larceny, prayer for judgment continued on condition she pay costs.

Marcus Steven Boren, 48, Mustard Ridge, Tuckasegee, possess marijuana, placed on unsupervised probation for 12 months, ordered to pay fine of $100 and costs, perform 24 hours community service and obtain substance abuse assessment.

Pamela Ansley McCall, 20, Mill Creek Road, Cullowhee, possess marijuana and possess marijuana paraphernalia, placed on unsupervised probation for 12 months, ordered to pay fine of $100 and costs, perform 24 hours community service and obtain substance abuse assessment.

Daniel Bruce Groenwold, 47, Hornet Drive, Whittier, common law forgery and attempted common law forgery, sentence of 120 days suspended for 18 months and placed on supervised probation on condition he pay fine of $100 and costs, given credit for three days served.

Tiffany Kaitlyn Johnson, 23, Wrights Creek Road, Cherokee, admitted to a probation violation, probation revoked and sentence of 90 days activated, given credit for 83 days served.

Travares Hardy, 23, Vidalia, Ga., reckless driving, sentencing continued to Sept. 24, ordered to perform 100 hours community service.

Clay Silas Tanner Jones, 26, Knotty Oak Drive, Sylva, assault inflicting serious injury, sentencing continued to July 23.
