An administrative term of Jackson County Superior Court convened July 31 at the Justice Center with Judge Brad Letts presiding.

Results of the term are listed below, with information obtained from records on file with the Jackson County Clerk of Court office. Defendants pleaded guilty unless indicated otherwise. In addition to dismissals, dispositions included:

Ricky L. Luethje, 55, Sylva, admitted to a probation violation, original judgment modified and sentence of 127 days, given credit for 14 days served.

Billy Eugene Bradley, 60, Chevy Drive, Whittier, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and possess/distribute methamphetamine precursor, sentence of not less than 96 nor more than 128 months, given credit for 32 days served, ordered to pay costs, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric and/or psychological counseling, work release and DART program recommended.

Guadalupe Carolina Guerreo, 27, Dicks Creek Road, Sylva, three counts solicit to commit first-degree statutory rape, sentence of not less than 72 nor more than 147 months, given credit for 396 days served, ordered to register as sex offender for 30 years and pay costs, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric and/or psychological counseling, work release and DART program recommended.

Blake Pearson Henry, 24, Leatherwood Road, Sylva, admitted to two counts of probation violation, original judgment modified, probation extended six months, sentence of 90 days.

Christopher Buddy Fisher, 23, Molasses Mountain Road, Sylva, attempted statutory rape of child and felony conspiracy, sentence of not less than 108 nor more than 190 months, given credit for 353 days served, ordered to register as sex offender for 30 years, pay costs and have no contact with victim, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric and/or psychological counseling, work release and DART program recommended.

Charlie John Howard, 25, Live Oak Drive, Sylva, admitted to two counts of probation violation, probation revoked and sentence of not less than four nor more than 14 months activated, given credit for 55 days served, substance abuse treatment, work release and DART program recommended.

Nadine Adiel Tramper, 38, Big Cove Road, Cherokee, admitted to a probation violation, original judgment modified, probation extended 12 months and transferred to supervised.

Brent Adam Brooks, 30, Sutton Branch Road, Sylva, possess heroin and possess methamphetamine, sentence of not less than eight nor more than 19 months suspended for 18 months and placed on special supervised probation on condition he serve 20 days active time, pay fine of $50 and costs, given credit for 12 days served, assigned to electronic house arrest for 90 days and ordered to obtain substance abuse treatment.

Frances Long Arkansas, 48, Big Witch Road, Cherokee, admitted to two counts of probation violated, probation terminated.

Bobby Burnley, 53, Mills Branch Road, Sylva, was found guilty of possess methamphetamine, possess drug paraphernalia and maintain vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, sentence of not less than six nor more than 17 months suspended for 18 months and placed on special supervised probation on condition he serve 13 days active time, pay fine of $50 and costs and obtain substance abuse assessment, given credit for 13 days served.

Edgar Morales Paz, 30, Encore Drive, Tuckasegee, two counts possess methamphetamine, sentence of not less than five nor more than 15 months suspended for 12 months and placed on supervised probation on condition he pay fine of $50 and costs and obtain substance abuse assessment, given credit for nine days served.

Tonyea Faye Cabe, 46, Lawrenceville, Ga., admitted to a probation violation, original judgment modified, sentence of 30 days.
