An administrative term of Jackson County Superior Court convened April 12 at the Justice Center with Judge Brad Letts presiding.

Results of the term are listed below, with information obtained from records on file with the Jackson County Clerk of Court office. Defendants pleaded guilty unless indicated otherwise. In addition to dismissals, dispositions included:

Anthony Edison Mace, 32, Trout Creek Road, Tuckasegee, admitted to three counts of probation violation, probation extended six months.

Keonta Monteece Ardrey, 41, Olivet Church Road, Whittier, admitted to a probation violation, sentence of 30 days.

Timothy Lawrence Sr., 52, Valor Mountain Road, Cullowhee, admitted to a probation violation, probation terminated.

Gary Shannon Russell, 48, Yellow Mountain Road, Cullowhee, admitted to a probation violation, sentence of four days, ordered to obtain substance abuse and mental health assessment.

Westley Allen Broom, 27, Connor Road, Sylva, admitted to a probation violation, probation terminated.

Felisha Faye Coggins, 33, Cocoa Lane, Cullowhee, had two cases of simple assault remanded to District Court.

Carolyn Elizabeth Keck Loftis, 31, Mint Hill, larceny of chose in action and injury to personal property, sentence of not less than seven nor more than 18 months, ordered to pay costs, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric and/or psychological counseling and work release recommended; two counts possess methamphetamine, sentence of not less than five nor more than 15 months suspended for 18 months and placed on supervised probation on condition she pay fine of $25 and costs, make restitution and obtain substance abuse assessment; admitted to four counts of probation violation, on each count probation revoked and one sentence of not less than six nor more than 17 months and three sentences of 45 days activated, given credit for 42 days served, probation sentences to run consecutively.

Jordan Alexander Willis, 22, High Point, obtain property by false pretense, sentence of not less than four nor more than 14 months suspended for 12 months and placed on supervised probation on condition he pay fine of $25 and costs and obtain mental health and substance abuse assessment.

Heather Nicole Steele, 27, East Hall Heights, Sylva, larceny and possess methamphetamine, sentence of not less than five nor more than 15 months suspended for 18 months and placed on special supervised probation on condition she serve 17 days active time, pay fine of $50 and costs, obtain GED and have no contact with victim, given credit for 17 days served.

Damien James Fisher, 22, Pigeon Lane, Sylva, posses drug paraphernalia, sentence of 45 days suspended for 18 months and placed on supervised probation on condition he pay costs and obtain substance abuse and mental health treatment; two counts possess methamphetamine, on each count judgment continued from term to term; another count of possess drug paraphernalia, sentence of 45 days suspended for 18 months and placed on supervised probation on condition he pay fine of $25 and costs.

Brent Adam Brooks, 32, Sutton Branch Road, Sylva, admitted to a probation violation, sentence of 30 days.

Andrea Lynn Teesatuskie, 36, Drama Lane, Cherokee, possess with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver Schedule II substance, sentence of not less than seven nor more than 18 months, ordered to pay costs, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric and/or psychological counseling and work release recommended.

Piper Betances, 39, Cane Creek Road, Cullowhee, attempt to obtain property by false pretense, sentence of not less than nine nor more than 20 months suspended for 18 months and placed on special supervised probation on condition she serve one day active time, pay fine of $50 and costs, perform 24 hours community service and obtain substance abuse assessment, given credit for one day served.
