A term of Jackson County Superior Court convened Oct. 11 at the Justice Center with Judge Brad Letts  presiding.

Results of the term are listed below, with information obtained from records on file with the Jackson County Clerk of Court office. Defendants pleaded guilty unless indicated otherwise. In addition to dismissals, dispositions included:

Mallory Yvonne Littlejohn, 34, Elm Street, Sylva, identity theft, sentence of not less than 19 nor more than 32 months, given credit of 122 days served; identity theft, sentence of not less than 19 nor more than 32 months, ordered to pay costs; two counts obtaining property by false pretense, sentence of not less than 11 nor more than 32 months, ordered to pay costs; larceny, sentence of not less than 11 nor more than 23 months, ordered to pay costs; seven counts forgery of instrument, sentence of not less than 11 nor more than 23 months, ordered to pay costs; larceny, two counts conspire to obtain property by fall pretense, five counts obtain property by false pretense, sentence of not less than 11 nor more than 23 months, ordered to pay costs, ordered to have no contact with victims, sentences to run consecutively, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric and/or psychological counseling and work release recommended; also admitted to two counts of probation violation, on each count probation revoked and sentences of not less than eight nor more than 19 months activated, given credit for 40 days and 220 days served, probation sentences to run consecutively.

Robert Allen Blocker, 64, Bryson City, assault on detention employee, sentence of five days, given credit for five days served.

Jason Holleran, 40, Race Lane, Sylva, admitted to a probation violation, sentence of three days, probation extended six months.

Carolyn Rachel Reed, 23, Webster Estates Mobile Home Park, Sylva, second-degree trespass, sentence of 13 days, given credit for 13 days served;  possess Schedule I substance and possess Schedule II substance, placed on supervised probation for 18 months, ordered to pay fine of $50 and costs and obtain GED and substance abuse assessment.

Curtis Wayne Ingram, 34, Golden Lane, Whittier, larceny, sentence of 120 days suspended for 12 months and placed on supervised probation on condition he pay costs, obtain GED and substance abuse assessment and have no contact with co-defendants, given credit for 63 days served.

Krista Crouse Oxendine, 49, Rocky Branch Road, Whittier, admitted to a probation violation, sentence of 90 days.

Krystal Allen, 32, Clarence Hall Road, Sylva, admitted to three counts of probation violation, given 120 days of electronic house arrest.

Scotty Lee Nelson, 38, Union Hill Road, Whittier, assault on law enforcement officer with physical injury, sentence of not less than seven nor more than 18 months, given credit for 175 days served, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric and/or psychological counseling and work release recommended.

Colby Alexander Dillard, 24, Clockwork Lane, Sylva, admitted to three counts of probation violation, probation terminated, monies owed to become civil judgment.

Matthew Thomas Snipes, 43, Pondview Drive, Sylva, two counts possession of stolen goods, sentence of 45 days suspended for 12 months and placed on supervised probation on condition he pay fine of $25 and costs, make restitution, obtain substance abuse assessment and have no contact with co-defendant or victims, given credit for one day served; two additional counts possession of stolen goods, sentence of 45 days suspended for 12 months and placed on supervised probation on condition he pay fine of $25 and costs; two counts break and enter a motor vehicle, prayer for judgment continued from term to term for one year.
