John and Yvonne Wintermier presented Jackson County commissioners with a petition containing more than 100 signatures of those they said are offended by this "Adult Video Store" sign at Uncle Bill's Flea Market in Barkers Creek. The sign, they said, has a negative influence and offends "the Christian people and children of the community." Board members asked their attorney, Raymond Large, to look into the issue and determine if they can have any influence. "It's left up to you and God," Mrs. Wintermier told the board.
