Nine Smoky Mountain student-athletes have been
chosen for All-Mountain Athletic Conference teams in fall sports.
Selected from the Mustang football team were seniors Nathan
Medlin, Cody McMahan, Ollin Dunford, Ben Robinson and Jonathan
Tanner.

Smoky Mountain student-athletes received all-conference recognition

Senior Ryan Cook was chosen for volleyball.
Sophomore Travis Brotherton was selected for cross country.
Receiving honorable mention were senior Danielle Bowers and
junior Katie Crisp in volleyball, senior David Kelly in football
and junior Bryan Newbold in soccer.
Asheville's Michael Byrd was voted football player of the year.

Tony Koone and Marcus England.
Roberson - De'von Mills, Adam Schulze, Coti Jackson, David McDowell
and Tyler Crowe.
Franklin - Chris Durm, Ben Savaiko, Mic Leatherman, Cecil Pollack,
Cayman Brooks and Nathaniel Moore.
East Henderson - Michael Angram and Zach Cooper.
Enka - Kaleb Linder.
Erwin - Bronson Honeycutt and John Nelson Holt.
North Buncombe - Jerod Pope.
Roberson's J.T. LaBruyere was named soccer player of the year.

Franklin - Josh Crawford.
North Buncombe - Dan Waymont and Gabe White.
Roberson - Patrick Browne, Caleb Alexander, Joey Polonsky, Todd
Byard, Rod Hubbard, Nic Baud and Ben Hulkower.
Tuscola - Greg Munoz, Frank Hopper and Drew Nassis.
Megan Plemmons of Franklin was volleyball player of the year.
