During ceremonies May 29 at Western Carolina University's Ramsey Center, 186 seniors graduated from Smoky Mountain High School. Commencement speaker was former principal Kenny Nicholson, introduced by Student Body President Mike Kaye. Student speakers included Salutatorian A.J. Rowell with "The Here and Now"; class treasurer Manisha Patel with "Reflections of the Looking Glass"; and Senior Class President Rady Large with "This Point and Forever Forward." |
