Sesquicentennial resolution presented

General Assembly's joint resolution

N.C. Rep. Phil Haire, left, presented a copy of the General Assembly's joint resolution honoring the founders of Jackson County on the occasion of the county's sesquicentennial (150th) anniversary to Jeff Carpenter, right, chairman of the county's Sesquicentennial Committee and director of the Jackson County Recreation and Parks Department.
