After eight years on the Jackson County Board of Elections, Chairman Danny Barnes (left, center) retired Tuesday from the post. Presenting Barnes with a plaque in appreciation of his years of service are Elections Assistant Sherill Stephens (far left) and Elections Supervisor Lisa Lovedahl-Lehman. Board of elections members were also sworn in (below) during a reception for Barnes at the Justice Center. Repeating an oath read by Clerk of Court Frank Watson (left) are (from left) new Chairman Bob Ray, Tom Jones and Britta Holcombe while Barnes holds the Bible.
