Celebrated storyteller and author Gary Carden is featured in the January issue of Our State magazine.
In reviewing Carden's latest book, "Mason Jars in the Flood & Other Stories," Sandra Redding concludes "this warm-hearted collection of stories is sure to entice even more fans into the fold of Carden enthusiasts." Redding also writes of Carden's "rich imagery," "intriguing folks" and "considerable talent." The Sylva native will share his talent during a storytelling presentation 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at the SoHo Grill in Cullowhee, located at the intersection of N.C. 107 and Little Savannah Road, near the Cullowhee Post Office. |
